About/Welcome letter
Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. I am Dr. Samantha Pajestka, owner, and chiropractor of Innately Well Chiropractic. I am a vitalistic and nervous system-centered chiropractor. What this means is that I view the body as a dynamic and continuously changing organism that is adapting constantly to what it needs and desires. Vitalism assumes that there is an intelligence and order within the organism that is designed to heal the body, and every system in the body coordinates functions with each other system. Chiropractic is designed on the concept of vitalism. Conventional medicine on the other hand views the body as a sum of its parts. Conventional medicine believes that each system (cardiac, pulmonary, circulatory, musculoskeletal) all function independently, so they have specialists that take care of each individual system. This is a mechanistic model.
It is the medical belief that healing comes from the outside-in, such as medications and surgery. It is the chiropractic belief that the body heals from the inside-out, and the capacity to heal already resides within you.
I am so happy you are here. It is my hope that together we can re-introduce you to the innate healer already residing within you.
I look forward to serving you and your family soon.

Meet the Doctor
Dr. Sam is a native Texan but decided to make a big move shortly after graduating chiropractic school. Dr. Sam grew up vacationing with her family in colder climates which led her to seek out living in one as an adult. She moved to Minot with fiancé, Logan, and their pets, Taz (yorkie) and LeRoy (cat) about 2.5 years ago! Dr. Sam loves to read and is always looking for a good book recommendation. She is also a big fan of any activity that gets her in the sun, be that a trip to the lake or hiking a trail. Dr. Sam graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2017. She received her master’s in Neuroscience and Chiropractic degree from Parker University in 2020. Dr. Sam utilizes multiple adjusting techniques including Thompson, Diversified, Activator, Craniosacral, and Tonal. Dr. Sam is also certified in Webster technique through the ICPA which she primarily utilizes on her pregnant practice members. Dr. Sam also has additional training in pediatric and the perinatal period. While Dr. Sam has a passion for serving chiropractic to all populations, serving families seeking preventative wellness care has always been her greatest passion.

FAQ
Can I use my insurance?
Dr. Sam is currently an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. Dr. Sam has chosen not to work directly with insurance companies because, in general, insurance companies rely heavily on a “sick” model of care rather than a “wellness/preventative” model of care. Many insurance companies will attempt to dictate the type of care you can and cannot receive. Insurance companies were designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and on treatment that is heavily weighted in the conventional model which often relies on drugs and surgery. We are committed to a care model that will address the underlying cause of your symptoms and provide you with nervous system focused adjustments that will keep your brain and body fully connected and communicating even in the absence of pain and symptoms.
If you do have a policy, it will probably help cover at least some expenses of your sick care when seen in our office. While Dr. Sam is an out-of-network provider, you can still utilize your insurance. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork and a receipt called a superbill within 24 hours of your appointment. You can use this superbill to submit it to your health insurance provider for reimbursement of services. If you have any questions or are unsure how to submit your superbill to your insurance, we would be happy to assist you.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to promote health and treat various medical conditions. This therapeutic technique is based on the concept of energy flow, known as Qi (pronounced “chee”), through meridians or pathways in the body. By stimulating acupuncture points, practitioners aim to balance the flow of Qi and restore the body’s natural energy balance.
Acupuncture is commonly used to address pain management, stress reduction, improve sleep, enhance immune function, and promote overall well-being. It is often sought after as a complementary or alternative therapy to conventional medical treatments.
Acupuncture can help individuals with the following:
- Neck/Mid-Back/Low Back Pain
- Extremity Pain
- Headaches
- Sports Injuries
- Muscle Pain – Tension/Trigger Points
- Sprains/Strains
- Tingling or Numbness
- Sciatica
- Tendonitis
- Anxiety and Stress
- Digestive Issues
- And Many MORE!
