About/Welcome letter
Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. I am Dr. Samantha Kemmera, owner, and chiropractor of Innately Well Chiropractic. I am a vitalistic and nervous system-centered chiropractor. What this means is that I view the body as a dynamic and continuously changing organism that is adapting constantly to what it needs and desires. Vitalism assumes that there is an intelligence and order within the organism that is designed to heal the body, and every system in the body coordinates functions with each other system. Chiropractic is designed on the concept of vitalism. Conventional medicine on the other hand views the body as a sum of its parts. Conventional medicine believes that each system (cardiac, pulmonary, circulatory, musculoskeletal) all function independently, so they have specialists that take care of each individual system. This is a mechanistic model.
It is the medical belief that healing comes from the outside-in, such as medications and surgery. It is the chiropractic belief that the body heals from the inside-out, and the capacity to heal already resides within you.
I am so happy you are here. It is my hope that together we can re-introduce you to the innate healer already residing within you.
I look forward to serving you and your family soon.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Sam is a native Texan who made the move to Minot in 2020 shortly after completing chiropractic school. Drawn to colder climates from years of family vacations up north, she chose to plant roots in a community that matched her love for all four seasons. Dr. Sam now lives in Minot with her husband, Logan, and their yorkie, Taz.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sam enjoys reading and is always on the hunt for a great book recommendation. She also loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s a sunny day at the lake or exploring a hiking trail.
Dr. Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2017, followed by a master’s degree in Neuroscience and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in 2020. She utilizes a variety of adjusting techniques including Thompson, Diversified, Activator, Craniosacral, and Tonal approaches.
She is certified in the Webster Technique through the ICPA, which she primarily uses to care for pregnant individuals, and has received advanced training in pediatric and perinatal care. In addition, Dr. Sam holds certification in Integrative Dry Needling through the Integrative Institute of Dry Needling. Her greatest passion lies in supporting families who value proactive, wellness-based chiropractic care.

FAQ
Can I use my insurance?
Dr. Sam (chiropractor) is currently an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. Remaining out-of-network allows her to create personalized plans that address the root cause of your concerns and support long-term health, even beyond the presence of pain or symptoms.
If you do have insurance, your policy may still offer reimbursement for some services. While Dr. Sam is out-of-network, you are welcome to use your benefits. We will provide you with the appropriate documentation, including a superbill (an itemized receipt), within 24 hours of your visit. You may submit this to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement according to your individual plan.
If you are unsure how to submit your superbill or have questions about your benefits, we are happy to guide you through the process.
